Procedure of the masterclass (subject to change)

Monday, 30.3.2026

  • 11.00 – 13.30 h: first meeting and teaching
  • 14.30 – 17.30 h: rehearsal Mahler (25 min each participant)
  • 18.00 – 19.00 h: short feedbacks

Tuesday, 31.3.2026

  • 10.15-13.15 h: rehearsal Haydn/Beethoven/Mendelssohn
  • 14.15-17.00 h: rehearsal Mahler
  • 18.00-20.00 h: individual feedback with Johannes Schlaefli

Wednesday, 1.4.2026

  • 10.15 - 13.15 h: rehearsal Mahler/Beethoven/Mendelssohn
  • 16.00 - 18.30 h: individual feedback
  • 18.30 - 19.00 h: group-feedback
  • Dinner with the group (voluntarily)

Friday, 2.4.2026

  • 11.15-14.15 h: rehearsal all pieces
  • 14.15 -15.15 h: break with short feedbacks
  • 15.15-16.30 h: rehearsal all pieces
  • 16.45 – 18.00 “Kostprobe”: each participant conducts one movement of the program
  • 18.00 h: End of masterclass with Apero “meet and greet”
    The participants are prepared to conduct the whole workshop-program and will be assigned a movement for the final open rehearsal.

Podium time: ca. 145 minutes per participant (6 participants)
Fee for active participants: 1750 Euros
Application fee (non-refundable): 50 Euros
Fee for passive participants: 300 Euros. (The number of places is limited.)

There are some scholarships available, offered by private sponsors, for which chosen participants can apply, if in substancial need!
